These Massive 2000s Pop and Rock Icons Are Taking Over Nantucket This Summer

It's all about the music on Nantucket this summer as the Nantucket Music Foundation prepares for musical acts to take over the island. Groups like The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, The Head and the Heart, and many more will be taking the stage for an unforgettable summer.

Legendary Island Venue Reimagined for a New Generation

Fun 107 artists like Natasha Bedingfield, Jojo, and Jesse McCartney will also perform at the legendary dive bar The Muse. “The Muse has incredible history, and we want a new generation of music fans to experience that energy again," said Hayden Arnot, co-founder of the Nantucket Music Foundation.

The foundation offers live music experiences while supporting the community with various programming. “Our goal is to bring live music back to the island in a way that feels intimate, accessible and community-driven,” Arnot said.

Live Music with a Mission to Give Back

Plus, the foundation is going one step further. Not only will music lovers enjoy a great show, they'll feel good knowing that the foundation is giving back. The foundation has partnered with Nantucket’s behavioral health center to support those with mental health struggles and addiction. It even plans on providing tickets to essential workers and first responders.

Alternative Rock Icons and Sold-Out Summer Lineups

Mark McGrath and his bandmates from Sugar Ray also join the list of performers. They'll take the stage for two dates in July, just weeks before bringing their hits to the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament in New Bedford.

The summer of music on Nantucket is certainly one not to be missed, and if there's an artist you're dying to see, you may want to act fast. The Head and the Heart, who play two shows at the end of July, have already sold out for both dates.
