Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 21 has been found guilty for the bombing attack at the 2013 Boston Marathon and could be sentenced to death.

The jury reached their decision Wednesday afternoon after an emotional trial that lasted over a month, according to the Boston Globe. He faced 30 charges against him for the bombing last year, seventeen of which carry the death penalty.

Now the jury will have to decide whether to sentence him to death or life in prison.

Tsarnaev and his brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, detonated two homemade pressure cooker bombs near the finish line on Boylston Street. Tsarnaev plead not guilty to all charges, but admitted to being involved in the bombing.

Three people were killed and 264 injured in the April 15, 2013 attack.
