In the not-too-distant future, your pizza delivery might not be via car, but by drone. UberEats has announced they they are now testing a five-minute drone food delivery system.

The ride sharing service company is not the first to come up with this idea. Domino's has actually used a pizza delivery drone in Austrailia. It was only done once so far, but delish.com reports that it was successful.

As far as Uber goes, the Delish website says the company has already begun testing drone food delivery in San Diego. At a press conference, the Uber CEO was quoted as saying "We need flying burgers."

The federal government has recently approved a program where several major companies, including uber, Fed Ex amd Amazon to deliver products via drone.
