Dole Recalls Spinach Because Of Salmonella Concern

Dole has announced a voluntary recall on a limited number of cases of bagged spinach because of salmonella concerns.

The product being recalled is Dole Spinach coded A27409B & A27409A, with a use by date of October 15 and UPC 7143000976. According to Dole, the salads were distributed in 13 different states, with Massachusetts being one of them.

Officials say no illnesses have been reported in association with the recall, so far.
