Dighton-Rehoboth Grad Chosen By Adam Levine On ‘The Voice’
"This is The Voice!"
Local singer Mia Boostrom won over the heart of Maroon 5's Adam Levine on The Voice, after performing ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk" during her Blind Audition on March 5, 2018.
Boostrom is a Taunton native who graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth High School with a passion for music and singing.
According to the Boston Globe, The Voice wasn't Boostrom's first rodeo when it comes to televised competition. About 10 years ago, she had also tried out for America's Got Talent, making it past the first few rounds, only to eventually be sent home.
Moving onto the Battle Rounds, this is only the beginning for the 25-year-old vocalist, as she is currently preparing to go head-to-head against many other contestants who received a spot on a team.
Best of luck, Mia!
