Dartmouth Police are investigating after a delivery driver was allegedly robbed and his vehicle was stolen.

According to police, officers responded at about 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 to Walsh Street after a delivery driver reported he was allegedly robbed by several males while making a delivery.

The driver said as he was making the delivery, several masked males approached him and demanded all of his money.

“Frightened that he might be injured, the driver stated that he immediately fled on foot, thus leaving his vehicle and belongings behind,” police said.

No weapons were ever displayed, police said, and the driver was not injured.

The driver returned to the restaurant where he works and called the police, and returned to the scene to meet with officers. Upon arriving, it was discovered that the suspects had allegedly taken the delivery driver’s vehicle, a white 2013 Honda CRV.

Police said the driver and another witness both described the male suspects as “dark skinned” and “wearing hoods.”
