Connecticut Ice Cream Shop Takes on TikTok Trend in a Sweet Way
TikTok trends may come and go, but the ones who insert a bit of creativity into their take on the trend tend to make the most memorable videos that come out on top.
Main Street Creamery, an ice cream shop in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut recently took the newly-trending "I could be brown, I could be blue" sound on TikTok, and showed off their various ice cream flavors during the short-form video. The song, called "MIKA" and originally created by Grace Kelly, mentions various colors in its lyrics, and for a creamery with a rainbow of sweet treats at their disposal, this surely was the perfect opportunity to go out into the beautiful sunshine and have a little fun.
Not only did this yummy take on the trend completely wow us, but it also just made us crave some ice cream on a warm summer day. This isn't the first time the creamery has hopped on a TikTok trend, either. They actually just recently added a new Berries and Cream milkshake to their seasonal menu thanks to the recent popularity of Starburst's Berries and Cream commercial from 2007.
I guess it's time for a road trip – Off to Connecticut we go! 😂
Main Street Creamery is far from the the only one to take on the MIKA trend with successful results. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell took time while filming their new Christmas movie musical, "Spirited," in Boston to record a TikTok together, showing off both of their incredible voices.
I mean, come on! How awesome is that falsetto from Will Ferrell?
