New life will soon venture into the abandoned Friendly's on Dartmouth Street in Dartmouth.

Since 2012, it's been a ghost town at the former South Dartmouth Friendly's. That absence of business will soon be in the past.

Lolly's Café, currently located on Rockdale Avenue in New Bedford, announced Tuesday morning around 6 a.m. that it is officially moving.

Owner Lolly Moniz-Fernandes commented within her post, confirming that the business would be moving to Dartmouth Street:

Lolly's current location on Rockdale Avenue is now up for sale. The business has an asking price of $15,000 fully equipped.

For those who are unfamiliar with Lolly's Café, parking is very scarce at its current location and the standing/sitting room inside is close quarters, almost too cozy for comfort. However, with the up and coming move to Dartmouth, there will now be more room and space to move around. The Dartmouth Street property will provide plenty of ample parking for new and former customers who swarm to Lolly's for a hearty breakfast and a tasty lunch.

As of this moment, there is no set date for Lolly's grand-reopening in Dartmouth. Stay tuned for further information on when the café plans to open their doors once more.
