Celebrate Small Business Saturday With Selfies in Providence
Small Business Saturday is almost here and you can shop, celebrate and score some epic selfies all in one place.
The Celebrate Downcity 2019 event is taking over Westminster Street between Dorrance and Union streets on Saturday November 30th and it sounds like a very fun way to support small businesses with the whole family.
The event will have food and drinks from local vendors like The Burgundian: Coffee and Waffles, Jaju Pierogi, Jeff's Wood Fired Pizza, Binge BBQ, The Eddy, Little Bitte Artisanal Cocktails and Kleos. So you can fill up your belly while you cross off your shopping list.
There will also be free photos with Santa, for believers of all ages (and all amounts of fur).
But I think the coolest photos at the event are the ones you can take inside the six colored-themed inflatable photobooths lining the street.
These things look so fun for everyone. And you can snap some great pics inside of them.
Pick the right booths and you could have some very catchy Christmas card photos this year. Event planners say each one will have a different color and theme, so try to hit them all.
Parents there will also be a crafting area for the kids with the Providence Children's Museum. And everything going down is free.
Plus Phish is in town that night, so the people watching at this one could be worth the trip in and of itself.
