What’s more satisfying than a warm, golden brown waffle with pure maple syrup? The answer is nothing, and that’s why I’m pumped for National Waffle Day today.

I'll be indulging in a Belgian waffle and several other items because I always go all-in on breakfast. It's the best kind of food, the best meal of the day, and you're going to have a hard time proving me wrong.

I was shocked to discover that Michael doesn’t even like breakfast food.

"I can take it or leave it," he said. "I would rather have a burger for each meal."

I can't help but think he's a psychopath for that one. What kind of person doesn't like fluffy pancakes, golden waffles, crispy potatoes, and the elixir of life known as coffee?

Breakfast has always been my favorite type of food and I truly feel that brunch is the best idea ever created. When I’m given a brunch menu, my eyes always gravitate toward the griddle section where I know I’ll be starting my order. It kind of feels like this national day was made just for me.

Breakfast is way more satisfying than lunch or dinner could ever be. It can be sweet, it can be savory, it can be hearty, and it can bring out the happy dance every time. If I never ate lunch or dinner again and only ate breakfast foods, I would be the happiest.

Michael wholeheartedly disagrees and could never part ways with steak.

Help us settle this debate.
