It's hard to believe, but North America's #1 ranked most overcrowded attraction is located right here in Massachusetts.  Forget Disneyland and Disney World.  New York City?  That's nothing.  Los Angeles and Chicago?  No big deal.  Shockingly, the most overcrowded attraction in North America is Boston's Faneuil Hall Marketplace.  I'm here to argue it.

Don't get me wrong, Faneuil Hall can definitely get busy, especially during the summertime.  Quincy Market was America's original food court.  Nothing beats strolling around Quincy Market and seeing foods from all over the world with endless options.  The best part about Quincy Market is that everyone in your family can get exactly what they want to eat.  Sure, it's hard to find a seat on most days, but the most crowded attraction in North America?

How is Faneuil Hall the Most Crowded?

Here's how Canada Sports Betting came to the conclusion.  The company analyzed Tripadvisor reviews from over 100 North American tourist attractions, keying in on comments about "busy" and "overcrowded" to determine which one was the most uncomfortably overcrowded.

At Boston's Faneuil Hall, for example, nearly 12% of of the guests complained about how crowded the attraction was.  To be fair, Walt Disney World was right behind Faneuil Hall at #2 in North American and Times Square came in at #3.

I think the flawed logic here is that the data surrounds complaints.  I'd imagine most visitors to Disney or New York City would expect to experience that overcrowded feeling where that is less expected at Faneuil Hall.  Therefore, guests would tend to complain more at the Boston landmark.

Regardless of the crowds, Faneuil Hall is definitely worth the visit.
