Fairhaven Hound Who Loves Belly Rubs Back in Shelter Since April After Being Returned [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Wet Nose Wednesday is back, and today is going to the dogs.
Thanks to the help of local shelters, we are able to share the stories of loveable animals that are up for adoption on the SouthCoast. Hundreds of animals are waiting to go home once and for all -- including Boomer, who is waiting to meet you at Fairhaven Animal Shelter.
Boomer is a 3-year-old hound mix that is 80 pounds of love and joy, and he resides at Fairhaven Animal Shelter in Fairhaven. He is under the impression that he is a lap dog, so be prepared for lots of hugs and kisses.
Boomer had a shot at a forever family, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. He was returned to the shelter because his family didn't have the time for him that he deserves.
While Boomer is being taken care of in Fairhaven, there is no denying that he is confused and lonely.
"He has watched all of the dogs here get adopted as he waits patiently for his family to find him," the shelter said.
Boomer loves belly rubs and is eager to bring happiness to a loving family. Due to his larger size, there should be no small children in the family, and Boomer would do best as an only dog.
Does Boomer sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Fairhaven Animal Shelter, like the shelter on Facebook and schedule a playdate today.
