This Thursday night Block-a-Palooza returns to take over South Main St in Downtown Fall River.

One of Fall River's favorite live music events is coming back to the Spindle City this Thursday night when the streets around the District Court House filling up music and dancing.

Brought to you by the Narrows Center for the Arts and People Incorporated, Block-a-Palooza features Samantha Fish as the headliner this summer with opening act The National Reserve.

Never heard of these acts? Well here's what you're in store for Thursday July 11 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

The National Reserve plays primarily classic American rock, taking 70's rock and mixing it with R&B and soul for their own unique sound.

Samantha Fish plays blues-rock mixing covers with her own originals. Expect soulful melodies along with guitar shredding.

Basically it's a night of free music, outdoors in Downtown Fall River and the event is kid friendly.

So get outside this Thursday night and check out some new music.

You could even grab some dinner at a local restaurant and make a night of it.

And Thursday night is supposed to be pretty warm, so what better way to enjoy the summer than with free music in the city.
