'Friends' fans got the best surprise last week when HBO Max released a teaser trailer for the show's long-awaited reunion episode.

The cult classic sitcom that began in the 90s famously features Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer as six friend living in New York City.  'Fans were able to watch it endlessly on Netflix for years, but after its contract with Netflix ended at the start of 2020, it has been binge-able on HBO Max, who will now air the reunion special starting May 27.

So now the urgency begins. I've seen 'Friends' all the way through exactly one time during college and loved every second of it. My boyfriend, on the other hand, had a harder time getting into it at first and had only gotten through the first half of season one.... That is until now. When HBO Max announced the reunion episode's debut was just two weeks away, we decided to take on the challenge of watching nine and a half seasons in just 14 days.

While the task seemed daunting at first, it's actually been easier than we originally thought, and with my boyfriend working from home, he's flying through episodes like there's no tomorrow, and enjoying it a lot.

So how long does it actually take to watch every episode of 'Friends?' According to Binge Clock, it takes exactly five days and one hour, although that's without a single break. Surely, you'll need a nap or two in there somewhere, but even then, you're giving yourself plenty of wiggle room.

So if you want to join Evan and I on our journey and start binging the series leading up to the reunion's debut, we encourage you to get started now so you can be finished by May 27.

The reunion episode will bring back much of the show's original cast, including the key group of six, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Pickles, Larry Hankin, and more. Celebrity guest stars like Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden and Lady Gaga will also appear in the episode.
