Billie Eilish Brings Us James Bond Vibes [WICKED OR WHACK?]
Billie Eilish had an incredible 2019. So what better way to start another amazing year in 2020 than to lend your voice to a James Bond movie soundtrack?
With a half-dozen Grammys under her belt, I'm sure Billie is getting offered singing opportunities and offers left and right. But this one is pretty iconic.
Billie laid down her vocals for the theme song to the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die. I have to admit, I haven't watched any of the Bond movies, but I can say I love all the music they garner for the soundtracks.
This song uses the same dramatic tone that previous James Bond soundtracks have given us. In case you still haven't gotten why Billie has taken over the music world and has literally become a household name within the past year, you may want to lend an ear to this song and listen to the soft vulnerable vocals she gives us.
In case you missed me playing it on the air, hit "play" on the YouTube video below:
There really is no denying that Billie lends some solid vocal texture to this James Bond song. Is it Fun 107 playlist worthy, though? It's a good song if you want to hop on a treadmill and get your heart rate up gradually.
Time for you to vote. Is Billie Eilish's take on a James Bond song wicked good or totally whack?
