Dearly Departed, the juice is once again loose.

The highly anticipated teaser trailer for Tim Burton's Beetlejuice sequel dropped on March 21, giving new life to diehards everywhere.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, starring Michael Keaton as the charismatic "ghost with the most, babe," comes to theaters on September 6, 2024, just in time for Spooky Season.

A more fleshed-out trailer is likely later. For now, we get this glimpse:

Speaking of glimpses, do you see anything familiar in this first look, aside from Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara reprising their iconic roles as mother-daughter opposites Lydia and Delia Deetz?

Like its 1988 counterpart, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is set in the fictional town of Winter River, Connecticut. The production crew returned to sleepy East Corinth, Vermont, in the summer of 2023 to film exteriors right before the writer's and actor's strikes halted work.

In November, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice returned to New England for a few more exteriors. This time the destination was Melrose, Massachusetts.

Fans of the original turned out to take in the suburban scene, which included homes decked out for Halloween and actress Jenna Ortega pedaling a bicycle down a quiet street.

While the teaser trailer doesn't appear to show Melrose, Ortega, who plays Lydia's daughter, is seen riding the same bike in the same clothing past some sets in Vermont. Perhaps her separate rides in that state and Massachusetts will be edited into one seamless scene in the final product. We'll see if future clips show off more of the city north of Boston.

The filming marked a return to Massachusetts for Ortega, who in 2022 was in New Bedford and Fairhaven to shoot Finestkind, now streaming on Paramount+. The movie, also starring Tommy Lee Jones, was written and directed by New Bedford native and Academy Award winner Brian Helgeland.

Ortega also stars in Burton's hit Netflix series Wednesday.

It remains to be seen what kind of trouble she'll get into in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Judging by the teaser, this is going to be quite the afterlife adventure. Where's The Handbook for the Recently Deceased when you need it?

It's almost showtime!
