If you're not familiar with Barstool Sport's 'One Bite Pizza Review', it's equivalent to the best job in the world.

Hosted by Barstool's own El Presidente Dave Portnoy, he travels the country searching for the best pizza and rating them judged on a single bite of a slice. This time, Portnoy has come to Massachusetts to review the bar pizza from Chelsea's own The Brown Jug.

No, we're not talking about the dive bar on Ashley Boulevard, this is a pizza joint in Northshore.

The review starts off by highlighting the quintessential Boston feel of The Brown Jug. Portnoy stated that the pizza is unique, straddling the line between a traditional bar pizza, but it's not quite there.

Although his reviews are honest and thorough, there are some who disagree with him while me on the other hand would follow him to the last pizza place on earth if given the chance.

Portnoy wishes the pizza was a bit tighter and less soupy, as he prefers pizzas that hold together well, allowing for loop-de-loops without losing their toppings. Despite this, he enjoys the texture and the thin crust, so there's some positivity coming from the review.

Now for the final results. After thinking thoroughly, Portnoy scores the pizza a 7.5 out of 10.

He appreciates the taste and texture, and although he had some reservations about the pizza's structure, the overall experience he had at this Massachusetts dive bar was for the most part positive. The score reflects not just the pizza itself but also the ambiance and the vibe of The Brown Jug. Again, nothing to do with the quintessential hole in the wall in New Bedford's North End, but it's a nice gesture.
