During a recent interview, Portnoy shocked the interviewer when he named Boston as No.3 on his list.

Though it was met with mixed reaction, Portnoy's pick for Boston having some of the best can be backed by one particular review:

Monte's in Lynn, MA is the only restaurant to ever receive a perfect score.

"Off the top of my head, I've got two great ones in Boston," Portnoy told the hosts. "I like the thin bar pie."

In addition to Boston, Portnoy was confident in his other picks. At the top of the list: New Haven.
