Awesome Summer Kids Programs Just Announced

The summer of 2016 is within our reach and what are your kids going to be doing to keep them active and happy?

The Mattapoisett Free Public Library has just announce a long list of great events and activities for kids of all age.  Registration starts on June 14th at the library where parents and kids can pick up their reading log and a full schedule of events which will happen daily.  The library is located at 7 Barstow Street in Mattapoisett.

The official kick off for the kids program is on June 23 from 4-6pm on the Mattapoisett Congregational Church lawn.  There will be lots for the kids to do to get the summer program rolling.  After the kick off there will be a concert from 6-8pm with great local talent.

This summers event will include things like; new crafts and science activities weekly.  There will be a Move and Groove that incorporates dancing and yoga for kids.  Also, Marvelous Marvin's Circus Arts Health Extravaganza will happen July19th at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church starting a 2pm.  Marvelous Marvin's entertaining performance shows kids the importance of keeping your mind and body active and healthy...while having fun!  And if your in the audience, you can try out some circus arts for themselves by juggling balls, clubs and spinning plates!  All ages are invited to this free event.
