Aunt Jemima Frozen Foods Recalled

Pinnacle Foods Inc is recalling over a dozen varieties of Aunt Jemima frozen waffles, pancakes and french toast due to listeria concerns.

The FDA says this is a voluntary recall due to a possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination of products distributed nationwide.

No illness have been reported, but listeria can cause serious infections in young children and the elderly as well as cause miscarriages and stillbirths in women who are pregnant.

No other Aunt Jemima or Hungry Man products are affected by this recall and all of the Aunt Jemima dry mixes and syrups are also not affected.

Anyone with products that have been recalled are urged to not consume them and instead return them to the store they bought them for a full refund.
