There are cat lovers and there are dog lovers, but what about fox lovers? We sometimes hear about fox sightings in the Dartmouth and surrounding areas, and jump to conclusions on how wily and troublesome they are, but one elderly man thinks otherwise.

In this video, an elderly man has adopted a rescued fox. He explains that the fox is often referred in children stories as the villain when in fact, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Growing up as a kid, I remember a friend of mine who took in a raccoon like it was a pet. I've seen other videos of people caring for skunks and squirrels.

He says,

The fox looks like a dog, purrs like a cat. But in fact is neither. They have the nicest nature of any animal I have eve met.

He calls the fox, "Jack." Check out the video below and ask yourself if you would ever own a fox.
