Adult Egg Hunts on Easter Are Way Better Than Childhood Hunts
Easter is here, and with that, comes many beloved traditions that have become synonymous with the religious holiday.
Children have enjoyed Easter egg hunts for decades, but I’m here to remind you that egg hunts are no longer reserved for children.
They can get a whole lot better as you get older if executed correctly.
I am blessed to be a part of a large family. Loud chatter and good food are the constants in my life for holidays, and Easter is no different.
Growing up, my cousins and I looked forward to the giant Easter egg hunt at my grandparents' house. Their backyard is massive and my grandparents were always generous when it came to filling the Easter eggs.

As my cousins and I got older, we weren’t ready to let go of the beloved memories that Easter Sunday brought us.
So, with the help of our aunts and uncles, we got creative.
Nowadays, our Easter eggs are filled with not only candy, but also money, scratch tickets and a few adult beverages.
Competitive to the core, we run around my grandparents' backyard collecting as many eggs as possible. It gives us that nostalgia we crave, but it also provides a new tradition with an adult twist.
All these years later, the kids are now having kids, and the child-friendly Easter egg hunt has returned to our family. But after the candy-filled eggs have been collected by the little ones, we still make time to have an egg hunt of our own.
If you haven’t tried out the adult version of an Easter egg hunt, make it this year.
Happy egg hunting.
