Wet Nose Wednesday is here again to remind you why it’s in your best interest to get a family pet. But not just any pet – a SouthCoast pet that is up for adoption and ready to find a forever home.

We have teamed up with several animal shelters on the SouthCoast to unite eligible animals with loving families, in a loving attempt to get as many animals adopted as possible. This week, Snoopy gets the spotlight.

Snoopy is an eight-year-old Chihuahua that is currently living life as a foster dog. CARE, SouthCoast in Acushnet is working hard to find this little guy a place to call home and to get a little healthier.

“He needs a little help to lose weight so he can live his best life,” said CARE, SouthCoast.

We get it, Snoopy. We love treats, too.

Snoopy can be a little shy at first and come off as nervous, but once he connects with you, he is a love bug who wants to snuggle and give kisses.

A dog that has been in the foster system needs to know that he can trust you first. He will need a patient adopter to allow him to decompress in his new home and become familiar with his new surroundings.

Snoopy is good with cats and dogs but probably best in a home without small children. He is also neutered and up to date on shots.

Want to meet him? Reach out to CARE, SouthCoast, fill out an adoption application and bring home this cuddly pup.

Help him lose weight and gain a loving family.
