Academy Award Nominations Announced

"American Hustle" and "Gravity" leads the pack this year with ten nominations followed by "12 Years A Slave" with nine. The biggest surprise is Scorsce's "The Wolf of Wall Street", with nominations in the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), and Best Supporting Actor (Jonah Hill). Snubbed by the Academy this year are Oprah and Tom Hanks.

Winners will be announced at the 86th Annual Academy Awards, hosted this year by Ellen, March 2, on ABC.
