A Keurig-Like Ice Cream Machine Is Becoming a Reality

Not many people LOVE winters. Don't get me wrong, I'm down for a few good snowstorms that force us to stay inside and binge watch Netflix, but I know I'm not alone in wanting to get the summer vibes going.

Give me 80 degrees and sun right now. Give me all the summer things.

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is getting  some soft serve at Friendly's across from the Dartmouth Mall. I don't do the cone. I like my toppings! Oh, and you better believe all of my close friends know that when it comes to ice cream, don't give me the real stuff, I want soft serve.

Well thankfully, someone came up with something that will bring me summer vibes real quick.

According to a post on Engadget, LG has a machine that allows you to make soft serve in the comfort of your own home or office. The machine is called Snow White and will have an assortment of flavors. It's rumored to work similar to that of a Keurig machine, and have a dish of ice cream ready in five minutes or less.

This was rumored back in March of 2019 and was featured as a prototype gadget at SXSW this past year.

Hopefully, this is something that will actually hit the market at some point. I could see it being in just as many homes as the Keurig. If it does, I think you already know what to get me for Christmas next year. Fingers crossed.
