DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — Dartmouth's Summer Festival returns this month, featuring fun activities for the whole family.

On Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p,.m. Elm Street will be filled with entertainment from vendors, food trucks, artisan stands and more to celebrate the annual summer festival.

Many of the stands come from Padanaram businesses and will offer sidewalk sales.

If you are familiar with Padanaram, you know it's a coastal village nestled right in Dartmouth. More often than not, it can feel like you are in a different place because of the quaintness of the village.

Despite its quiet streets, Padanaram offers much beyond its beautiful waterfront location, which makes it a spot to visit if you're looking for a quick getaway.

Multiple businesses and unique shops make up its location, creating a place perfect for exploring during summer nights.

While the Padanaram Summer Festival is an event for the whole family, there will be a section specifically for kids to enjoy.

In addition to games and activities, the Padanaram kids zone will highlight all the young local entrepreneurs.

In collaboration with St. Peter's Episcopal Church, kids will sell handmade goods during the sidewalk sale. Items can range from baked goods to lemonade, jewelry and more. Seeing what you'll find throughout the kid's zone sidewalk sale is always a surprise.

Parking and a shuttle will be available at St. Mary's Parish Center on 789 Dartmouth Street.

Whether you live in Dartmouth or a nearby SouthCoast town, Padanaram's Summer Festival and sidewalk sale have something for everyone to enjoy.
