A First Look at the New Merrill's on the Waterfront [PHOTOS]

After a month of renovations to the former Waterfront Grille on Homer's Wharf in New Bedford, LaFrance Hospitality is putting the finishing touches on its the newest restaurant, Merrill's on the Waterfront, before it officially opens next week.

The TV's are going up, the final touches to the bar are in place and the menu is just about finished, including favorite local indulgences like a lobster quesadilla, steamed lobster, lobster mac & cheese, orange-ginger scallops, fried sea scallops, a raw bar, and more.

The whole place has been given a fresh coat of paint, new floors, new furniture, new lights - you name it. This is sure to be one of the best places to catch a SouthCoast sunset this summer; hopefully, there's room for us on the deck!
