7-11 Cove Road New Bedford and Bliss Corner Gas Express Both Held Up

New Bedford Police say this man robbed the 7-11 at 1024 Cove Road New Bedford this morning. According to New Bedford Police Detective Captain Steven Vicente, the suspect went into the store at about 4:30am, put his hands under his shirt, and told the 20 year old clerk that he had a gun. The employee ran away towards the back office when the suspect demanded all the money from the register. The suspect left without getting anything.

A man fitting the same description also robbed the Bliss Corner Gas Express on Dartmouth Street, Dartmouth. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Michael Carrier at 508-991-6300 ext. 114.
