This is the best kept secret about where to get a Christmas Tree on the Southcoast.  If you want the full Christmas tree selection experience--all while helping to fight ALS--this one's for you.

It's a Rock family tradition, for the past 10+ years, we have bought our Christmas Tree at the Douglass family farm on Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven.  They pick out a weekend each year and sell Christmas trees on their private land, then donate all the money to research dedicated to fighting ALS.

This year, the Douglass family will do it again.  Over the weekend of December 9th and 10th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the family will be selling Christmas trees.  Any tree...any size....they are all $40.  Every penny goes to support the ALS Therapy Development Institute, a nonprofit biotech in Cambridge, MA focused 100 percent on ALS research.
