Back by popular demand, Yoga with the Elephants is returning to Roger Williams Park Zoo this August!

Yoga With the Elephants comes back to Roger Williams Park Zoo on Sunday August 12th from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. fittingly hosted by Laughing Elephant Yoga out of East Greenwich.

The class gets you right next to the elephant enclosure at the zoo before it opens to the public and while the trainers are feeding them their breakfast!

It is a very unique outdoor class that allows you to stretch, relax and enjoy these amazing animals

The class is on the pricey side however, costing takers $35 (which is not refundable if you can't make it). And a portion of the ticket goes to elephant conservation.

Those interested in Yoga With the Elephants must buy tickets in advance online. Tickets go on sale through the Roger Williams Park Zoo website next Monday June 9th for students and then opens to the public on Tuesday June 10th.

If interested, don't delay...tickets to this event sold out last year.

Those taking the class you are advised to dress for the weather, as it will be 100% outside on the pavement. There is a rain date of August 19th if Mother Nature ruins the fun on the 12th.

You're also required to bring your own mat (or two) and encouraged to have water and a towel.

There will be a snack included with the class and vendors on hand for some early morning shopping.

And going to the class also means you'll get admission to the zoo for the rest of the day!
