What’s New at This Years Barnstable County Fair

If you're looking for a real fair experience this summer, this is the one you wanna go to; the 173rd Barnstable County Fair at the fairgrounds on route 151 in East Falmouth.

The Barnstable County Fair started Monday the 17th and goes through Sunday, the 23rd. There is something for everyone, young and...not so young :), including all the great entertainment and music in the Main Stage and Arena. Groups like BJ Thomas at 5:00PM on Thursday and then followed by the World's Largest Demolition Derby at 7:30PM tonight.

The fair also has street performers that will be performing throughout the day on the fairgrounds as well including Magic Matt, The Lucky Bob Show, and Whimsical Wendy. These people specialize in up-close magic and other acts. Included at the fair there is a full Midway with every ride your kids, or your inner kid, can imagine! The brand new features of the fair include the Clydesdale horses, a stunt bike show featuring BMX tricks, and Waterbark. If you're wondering what the heck is Waterbark?  It's something you can only come across here, it's an aerial acrobatic group that includes dogs 🐶

On top of all of the rides at the fair itself what more could you ask for? Hello?...food of course! The fair has plenty of everyone's favorite fair foods in the "Food Loop" and also includes a beer tent in the center and a brand new poutine vendor. Also, in the exhibition center there is plenty of goods to be bought from local venders like jams, honeys, and other hand made products. Head down to the Barnstable Fair before fair season is over.
