Fairhaven Dog Dropped Off At Shelter After Owners Move Away [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday!
Everyone deserves to know what it feels like to be loved by a pet, and every animal deserves to be loved by the perfect family. Hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast are waiting for a place to call home, and on Wet Nose Wednesday, we aim to get the word out.
With the help of local shelters, we give the spotlight to one lucky animal, and this week, we head to Fairhaven Animal Shelter in Fairhaven to help out a small dog with a big heart.
Meet Tommy, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu looking to give a family all of his love. He had a loving home once, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. His family moved away and Tommy was unable to go along with them. Situations like this break my heart because I can only imagine how confused Tommy must have been.
Now, he patiently waits at Fairhaven Animal Shelter for a second chance at a forever family.
Tommy gets along well with other dogs and cats, and from the looks of it, would make an excellent lap dog. The perfect dog for cuddling.
He was also recently neutered and updated with vaccines. All there is left to do is find him a family that will love him.
Does Tommy sound like a good fit for you? Find Fairhaven Animal Shelter on Facebook and reach out today to schedule a play date.
