Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's get some animals adopted.

SouthCoast shelters are overflowing with animals that need forever homes, and sadly, shelters are running out of room. Every Wednesday, we shine a light on one lucky animal in hopes of getting the attention of the perfect family.

This week, two loving cats in Fall River get the spotlight, and they will need a family that can help them through some tough challenges.

Meet Bruno and Mirabel. Both Bruno and Mirabel are 23 weeks old and currently reside at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

Both Bruno and Mirabel have special needs. Bruno is entirely blind in both of his eyes and Mirabel is blind in her right eye.

"They've come from our friends down in Puerto Rico and now they're here and seeking their forever homes," said the shelter.

They don't have it easy, but their disabilities have not slowed them down one bit. They are both still your typical playful, loving, silly kittens who love toys and other cats.

"While they start off a bit on the shy side, they come out of their shells relatively quickly and gain enough confidence to show their sassy, goofy personalities," said the shelter.

Bruno and Mirabel do not have to be adopted together, but first consideration will be given to people who apply for both
