Ways to Stay Cool Without Air Conditioning

We are stuck in a heat wave and you are stuck without an air conditioner.  I did some searching for ways to keep cool using items you have around the house already. 

One of my favorite things to do is to fill some cups with ice, water and salt, the salt makes the water colder for some reason, put the ice filled cups in front of a fan and the air coming at you will be much cooler.  Follow this link to more ways to stay cool without A/C.
