Libraries are usually quiet places.  Visions of old-school librarians 'shushing' loud visitors are going to need to be tabled in Wareham, at least for a few days.  Wareham's Got Talent is coming to the Wareham Free Library.

Wareham's Got Talent will be a fundraiser for the library's foundation.

This year, instead of its annual theatrical production, the Wareham Library Foundation is hosting a Wareham's Got Talent show.

According to the library's Facebook page, adult performers (18 and up) may audition this Saturday, September 8 from 9 to 11:30 am. An additional audition date has been set for Thursday, September 13 from 4-7 pm.

The finalists selected will go head to head on October 19th.

All of these events will take place at the Wareham Free Library.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place winners.

Similar to America's Got Talent, the performances are not limited to singing.  Magic, comedy and other talents are encouraged.
