UPDATE: The victim's body has been recovered.

WAREHAM — The recovery effort is expected to resume this morning in Wareham to find a man who fell through the ice on Sunday.

Crews responded to the area of 786 County Road at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, after reports that someone had fallen through the ice of pond that serves as the reservoir for cranberry bogs.

The Plymouth County Dive Team was called in to assist, but murky water made it difficult to find the man.
