WAREHAM — A Douglas man is arrested again by Wareham Police for allegedly threatening the life of a police officer.

Richard LePage, 70, was arrested last Monday, July 16, near Besse Park in Wareham after he was allegedly found drunk in his boat with a loaded gun.

Wareham Police arrested LePage again on Monday, July 23, on a warrant and a charge of threats to kill a police officer. Police say LePage relayed to a town official that he wanted to kill a police officer and that he had the means to do it.

After being made aware of the alleged threat, Wareham Police located LePage on Main Street, near Cedar Street, at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, and placed him under arrest.

LePage was arraigned Monday on the outstanding warrant and charge of threatening to kill a police officer.
