New Taco Bell Restaurant Opening Soon in Wareham
There have been plenty of summer days when the Rock family has swung into Taco Bell after a long day of fun in the sun at Water Wizz. We’ve usually worked up quite the appetite and look forward to grabbing a quick snack or even a full meal. It didn’t hurt that you could practically hit Taco Bell with a rock if you were standing on top of the Pirate’s Plunge.
Wareham is a big town, though. If you’re shopping on the other side of town, fighting traffic all the way down a crowded Cranberry Highway might not be ideal.
New Taco Bell Location Confirmed for Wareham
That’s why fans of the fast-food chain will be thrilled to know a new Taco Bell is officially coming to Wareham. The company itself confirmed the exciting news to Fun 107 this week.
A spokesperson for Taco Bell told Fun 107:
“Yes, a new Taco Bell is going in at 2424 Cranberry Highway, which will be owned and operated by franchisee Desert De Oro Foods. They are breaking ground in the coming weeks and hoping to open by the end of the year. There will be a dual-lane drive-thru, and the dining room will seat 20 guests.”

Where the New Taco Bell Will Be Located
For reference, the new restaurant will be built in the former location of BB’s Bar and Grill, right around the corner from Wareham Crossing and near the junction of I-195 and Route 28. It's the same spot where the legendary Zeadey's Restaurant stood for many years.
If construction stays on schedule, SouthCoast residents could be unwrapping soft tacos and Chalupas at the new Taco Bell before the holidays.
