Wareham Man Arrest For Patio Furniture Theft

A Wareham man is accused of stealing patio furniture.

Wareham Police Chief Kevin Walsh says that around 6 o'clock Tuesday night they received a report that an outdoor patio set valued at over $500 was stolen from Shaw's at the Wareham Plaza by a man driving a red pickup truck.

A truck matching that description was pulled over roughly a half mile from the store on High St.

The outdoor patio set was recovered from the bed of the truck and returned to the store.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Robert Perry III, was charged with Larceny Over $250, Operating After License Revocation, and Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Perry was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at Wareham District Court.
