Wareham Is Getting a New Breakfast Spot in Loafy Lark
Wareham will have a new breakfast spot beginning this weekend, and it's in a familiar location.
It was just a few months ago that we reported the closing of Wareham's Golden Bamboo restaurant located in the Redbrook Landing Plaza. It didn't take long for someone to scoop up this prime location on Cranberry Highway.
Wareham locals are already abuzz about this new spot and for good reason. Local woman Faye Prapawicha is the owner as well as the chef and creator of the menu that is sure to please just about anyone that steps in.
Prapawicha is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence. She has gone on to work in the kitchen of some of Boston's best restaurants like Chickadee in the Seaport district.

With over 10 years of experience rising from a pastry chef to sous chef, and after working as a private chef for some of the area's wealthy, Prapawicha is more than qualified to open up her new spot, Loafy Lark.
Prapawicha said the name was inspired by her morning wake-up call of birds singing. Just as that pleasant sound gets your day off to a great start, she hopes her food will do the same for many in the area. Even the menu items are named with the bird theme in mind.
Prapawicha and her fellow JWU alum Joe Previte are excited to have Loafy Lark's soft opening this Friday morning. It will then reopen next Tuesday through Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For the soft opening, Loafy Lark is offering 20 percent off so you have a reason to stop in and try everything on the menu at a discounted price.
Being a graduate of JWU's business school myself, I can't tell you how excited I am to check this place out. I just know my fellow alumni will make me proud.
