Wareham Juvenile Charged with Threatening School Shooting on Snapchat
A threat of a school shooting on Snapchat has led to a juvenile being arrested and charged with making terroristic threats in Wareham.
Wareham High School administrators notified Wareham Police School Resource Officer Karl Baptiste of the threat on Monday, after discovering an unidentified male juvenile had posted a picture of himself to Snapchat with the caption, "Anyone down for a school shooting?"
Police arrested the juvenile and charged him with making terroristic threats. He was transported to Wareham District Court and arraigned. Police say he was cooperative and denied ever having any intentions of being involved in a school shooting, but they say the investigation remains ongoing.
