Hard to believe, but it's been 10 years since Fun 107 first stepped foot into the luxurious Nobnocket Boutique Inn on Martha's Vineyard. I vividly remember feeling like I was walking around a museum the first time we visited.  Every room is decorated 'just so.' Each room has it's own personality. Each piece curated by the minds of innkeepers Simon and Annabelle Hunton.

The secret is finally out, and it’s a big one for Martha’s Vineyard. The Nobnocket Boutique Inn in Vineyard Haven has just been named the #9 Best Hotel in the Northeast in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.

A Confidential Celebration

Annabelle and Simon found out about the award a couple of weeks ago, but they had to keep it under wraps until Tuesday morning. “We got a confidential email and couldn’t say a word until today,” Annabelle said. “We were doing the number nine dance in the kitchen when we found out.”

The Nobnocket, which has just seven rooms, stood out in a field filled with major hotels and luxury resorts. “It’s people voting, Real guests,” Annabelle said. “We don’t have a huge mailing list, so this feels incredible.”

The Only Martha’s Vineyard Hotel on the List

The Nobnocket is the only hotel on Martha’s Vineyard to make the list. This honor extends beyond the Cape and Islands, it encompasses the entire Northeast (with the exception of Boston, which has its own category). “For such a small property to get national recognition from Condé Nast it’s just huge," she said.

Recognition That Hits Home

Annabelle and Simon run the Nobnocket entirely themselves. There's no PR team, no paid ads, no booking sites. “It’s just us,” Annabelle said. “We don’t even pay to be on TripAdvisor. So this really validates what we’re doing.”

For the couple, the timing couldn’t be better. “We’re at our tiredest this time of year,” Annabelle admitted. “But this gives us such a boost. It reminds us why we love doing what we do.”
