UPDATE: Cindy and Vanessa from Puerto Rico

This morning we told you the story of Cindy and Vanessa from Puerto Rico. Here's how you rallied for them this holiday!

The two sisters and their 8 children were all dispaced from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria brought destruction upon the country, leaving them with absolutely nothing.

Through the Generosity of Plaza Azteca restaurant in Seekonk and Glasier Glass of New Bedford, the two companies teamed up to raise $1,250 collectively to help with the sisters with rent.

Also, Andrews Fruit & Produce, Remax Vantage in Fairhaven and Couto Construciton all gave $500, while Josh Braga pinch hit for Dana at Kia of Dartmouth with a $1,000 donation.

Lastly, a big thanks to alongside countless other community members who called in and made donations throughout the day.
