Unlicensed Acushnet Man Revived, Arrested for Operating Under Influence of Drugs

Police were dispatched to the area of Acushnet Avenue and Chaffee Street Thursday for a report of an unresponsive man in the street.

Officers administered Narcan and he was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Evidence of drug use was found in his vehicle and he was determined to be unlicensed. After further investigation and witness statements, police cited Zachery Collins, 23, of 229 Perryhill Road, Acushnet, for OUI drugs and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The incident was reported at 5:22 p.m.
