UMass Dartmouth Women’s Tennis Moves on to the Finals
UMass Dartmouth will move onto the women's tennis finals.
The UMass Dartmouth Corsairs site reports that after a successful match against the formerly unbeatable Rhode Island College, the UMass Dartmouth's Women's tennis team is moving onto the championship in the Little East Conference Women's Tennis Tournament.
Kristen Rose, senior and co-captain of the tennis team won the final match that led to UMass Dartmouth trumping RIC, 5-4. Earlier on in the match, the Corsairs were falling short, but recovered the last three matches thanks to Rose, sophomore Mollie McCaffrey and fellow senior and co-captain, Maggie Lebrun.
The Corsairs will now face the Bridgewater State University Bears tomorrow, October 24 at 1pm at the Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts in Bridgewater.
