UHaul has announced some great news for Southcoast homeowners who are still dealing with the effects of flooded out basements last weekend.

Eighteen different U-Haul locations across New England will be allowing victims of last weekend's storm to store their belongings for up to 30 days for free! This is especially helpful for those who have flooded basements, broken windows, and even fallen trees through their houses. U-Haul will be providing their "U-Box" self storage units at some of their Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. “The storm has mostly moved out to sea, but the devastation remains... As a strong member of the communities that we serve, U-Haul is happy to assist our neighbors in times of need by offering a safe, dry and secure place to stow their belongings at no cost for a month.”, said Brian Picanco, President of the New Hampshire U-Haul. If you have found yourself in a dire situation and would benefit from this relief program, contact the U-Haul Location nearest to you, which you can find on the list here.
