A man and a woman from Wareham were arrested Wednesday night for fighting over marijuana money in a police station parking lot.

The Cape Cod Times reports that police witnessed the incident in the parking lot of the Bourne Police Station in Buzzards Bay in which a woman was seen attacking the driver of a car through the car window.

Brandon Mello, 21, and Tieyanna Yancey, 18, had reportedly tried to drive a car off the road to collect money owed to Mello for marijuana. The other car then pulled into the police station parking lot where police went out to stop the fight.

When they got out there they say Yancey was “scratching, gouging, and pulling the victim’s head, hair, neck and throat area” and had to be brought to the ground by officers.

The victim of the attack was missing a section of hair and was bleeding from her finger and another woman in the car with her told police that Yancey was trying to collect $40 they owed Mello for marijuana.

The victim's car was also spray painted pink, which Yancey reportedly did while hanging out of Mello's car window and threatening the two women.

Mello's car was searched and police found small quantities of marijuana, smoking paraphernalia, a can of pink spray paint, and a knife with brass knuckles incorporated into the handle.

Mello and Yancey were arraigned Thursday in Falmouth District Court and are both due back in court on April 20th.
