Valuable Watch Stolen From Travis Kelce Found in Providence

It's been weeks since Travis Kelce's Missouri home was burglarized by criminals targeting professional athletes' homes. Now a valuable item stolen from that home has been found in Rhode Island.

Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes, both reported break ins while the team was playing at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium against the New Orleans Saints on October 7th.

Now, according to ABC6 News, something from the Kelce break in has been recovered in Providence.

The news outlet was the first to report that a high end watch belonging to Kelce turned up in Providence, RI. Though details on how it was found and who was in possession of it are scarce, here is what we do know so far.

Back in early October, several professional athletes homes were robbed.

Both Kelce and Mahomes, as well as Bobby Portis of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Mile Conley of the Minnesota Timberwolves, had their homes hit by what police believe are an international crime ring.

For Kelce, the burglary resulted in $20,000 of stolen property and about $1,000 in damaged to his back door, which was where thieves entered the home.

He and girlfriend Taylor Swift, had been out celebrating the teams win after the home game and did not discover the break in until the early morning hours. They both then decided out of an abundance of caution to stay at a local hotel for the night.

Now weeks after the string of crimes, one of Kelce's belongings has surfaced - in Providence, RI.

Though the Providence Journal says city police have yet to comment on their involvement in the recovery, ABC6's source say a watch of the tight end's did make it to the Ocean State and has been found.

Perhaps Kelce will have to come to town with Swift for a weekend at her Westerly home and a meeting with police about the recovered watch.

No other news about the crime ring or the thefts on star athlete homes has been revealed since the robberies last month.
