    Wednesday, May 17th: Aquidneck Growers Market Reopens

    More than 30 vendors who grow their own vegetables, flowers, fruit, etc. The market is open from 2pm-6pm at the Memorial Boulevard, Newport.

    Thursday, May 18th: Mixology Class

    For just $25 per person at Christie's, you can learn how to mix and stir some of your favorite drinks and get to taste a selection of them too. The class starts at 6:30 p.m.

    Friday, May 19th: Newport Oyster Festival

    Starting May 19th and running till the 21st, the Oyster Festival will be celebrated at Bowen's Wharf, Newport. Enjoy oysters and champagne along the waterfront, how nice! Sampling oysters and 20 growers, eateries, and exhibitors.

    Friday, May 19th: The BIT Players Award Winning Improv Comedy

    From 8p.m.- 9:45 p.m. at the Firehouse Theater the Bit Players will be on stage every Friday and Saturday doing hilarious improv and musical numbers with ideas from the audience. Admission is $18 per person.

    Saturday, May 20th: Coggeshall Farm's 9th Annual RI Wool and Fiber Festival

    Working with natural fibers and traditional craft skills, people will be taking the stage at Coggeshall Farm from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. to show how to properly take care of sheep wool, etc. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. There will also be a Craft fair taking place as well.

    Saturday, May 20th: Ladies of Linden Place Mansion Tour

    If you like historical walkthroughs, this is perfect for you. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Linden's Place there will be a guided tour that talks about the women who lived and worked at the mansion. Admission is $8 to public and $6 for students and seniors.

    Sunday, May 21st: 35th Annual Birds & Breakfast

    At the Norman Bird Sanctuary for $30 in advance or $35 the day of (children 3-12 are $10) you can come and enjoy breakfast made with ingredients by local farmers while celebrating the flowers blooming and the birds chirping. The event is from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

    Sunday, May 21st: Meet Your Maker Market

    This event lets you look inside Rhode Island’s food manufacturing economy. There will also be some tasting done too. From 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Hope and Main, Warren come see and taste Rhode Island specialty food and drinks.

    The area’s leading paint party organizer Mermaid Masterpieces teamed up with Newport’s legendary O’Briens Pub and fashion brand, Lularoe, to offer a series of paint party socials. Admission is $50 and it takes place at O'Briens Pub from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
