The old school typewriter meets the modern age with an app! Ever since the laste 70's, Tom Hanks has been enamored with the sound and feel of various typewriters. Hence, Tom Hanks and Hitcents developed an "app that provides the ease and speed of an iPad with the sound and pace of a manual typewriter," according to the Guardian.

In fact, Hanx Writer has the ability to print, share and email documents and save them if you are interrupted. The app has other versions which include "support for saving multiple documents, blue and red ribbon colours and background colours (the Hanx 707) or multiple documents, text alignment and the ability to build title pages with pictures (the Hanx Golden Touch)."
